Salam alikum,

I spoke to christian telling him that we do not have islamic symbol to pray to, as it is idolatory.
And he told me - is Kaaba not a symbol itself?

Will you please help me to created the best answer?

To keep unity and uniform in prayer - thats all non Muslim needs to know.

For us we have its sacredness in mind and heart and above all it is the place where the first tajalli occured and it is of a circular shape thus we have the saying "the circle of life" - life itself has this circular shape.
