Hello,

I am a 19 y/o female originally from Bangladesh, but I've grown up in Australia. My parents have recently been pressuring me to find a husband =='. I don't want to get married or have children. I want to travel the world and get involved in social work (I'm doing a sociology degree). Is it compulsory for muslims to get married and have children? It's not like I want to substitute that life for one of partying! My intentions are good. How can I make my parents understand? I'm at my wits
end stressing about this and I'm only 19. Advice anyone?
