Do you know if this was the same pir who made takfir of those involved in Tabligh?

No brother,i am not sure of that,but his opponent MANGAL BAGH used to send his captives (for lesser degree of crimes) free,if they made a pledge they will spend 4 months with tableeghi jamaat.
