....does anyone know how many Naqshbandi offshoots are there in the world....DR bilal Phillips mocks the naqshbandis in a video....turns out they are the naqshbandi haqqanis...then we have naqshbandi mujaddadi and now saifi....are there any others??.....
Naqshbandi Mujaddadi means the branch of Naqshbandi tareeqa spread from Mujaddad Alfe theni Shaikh Ahmad Sarhindi ra.Mostly his silsila spread from two of his khulufa,Khwaja Muhammad Massom ra and Syed Adam Binori ra.The former is more wide spread than the later. In the silsila of Khwaja Muhammad Masoom,a big Sufi Shaikh Abdullah Dehlwi known as Shah Ghulam Ali became very famous, and one of his Khuluufa Shaikh Khalid Kurdi ra spread this silsila in Syria,Iraq,Kurdistan and Turkey. The shaikh of Haqqani,s,named shaikh Daghistni, who passed most of his life in Syria and died there, probably belonged to the branch of shaikh Khalid Kurdi.Shaikh Nazim is a Khalifa of the same Shaikh Daghistani.
The silsila of Saifi,s is also traced back to one of the Sons of Mujaddad Alfe thani ra.
So basically they are all Naqshbandi Mujaddadi.
