Thanks a lot Nomadic and everyone else too.

So conclusion: as long as we know its not wajib or sunnah and were not propagating it, its not bid'a to do sth the Prophet SAW didn't do in his 'ibadah for the sake of deepening our connection with Allah SWT.

Khair insha Allah. hopefully this is the right opinion.
In addition,

Allah in the Qur'an tells us to make Zikr abundantly. So it means you can do whenever you want, as much as you can. Zikr doesn't have to be found in the hadith in its exactness.
