Good question. In the books the scholars made a general statement saying it's recommended for a woman to make iqamah for her self or for a group of women. As far as I have seen or heard there is no exception, not even for the husband. It seems a little bit strange though, because the reasons ('illal) for not doing adhaan are not present in the iqaamah. Maybe a shafi'i scholar can answer this question.
