Default Eid-Al-Adha Salah
Salamu alikum wr wb,

It the Eid al adha salat at my local masjid, the brother who led the prayer did the 7 takbirs and then fatiha, then another surah. But in the second rakkah he recited al fatiha, then another surah, then the 5 takbirs last. EVERYONE got confused and went into sujjood, because we always to the 5 takbirs in the second rakah before the quranic recitations. After the salah they made an anouncement becasue some of the brothers were upset for the way the imam led the prayers doing the five takbirs after the recitation of fatihah and another surah, (I beleive he was new to the arabic language and had not sharpended is recitation yet because his pronounciation wasnt correct). Because of the confusion witht he takbirs, everyonbe messed up and somepoeple waited to repeat their salah with the second jummah which was led by another imam.

1. Was the way the imam did the takbirs wrong?
2. If that confusion occurs isnt it true that the mistake is on the Imam, not the ones who pray behind him?
3. If someone cannot pronounce arabic well but they memorized quran, can they still lead people in salah who happen to have better recitation?

I was thinking people should just be happy that it is Eid and they prayed and not get angry over this, but maybe they have a point?
