Is There Any Possibility I Can Have A Bit More Detailed Or Brief Profile About The Scholar.

Jazakallah
Hes a graduate of Usool Al Deen college in Abha, Saudi Arabia. His masters degree topic was related to innovations and its effect on narrations etc. His Phd was in a topic related to Saheeh Muslim.

Theres a very long bio of him in Arabic. But a shorter one in English under the name Shaykh Dr. Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni.

He is very famous for the book La Tahzan (Do not be sad) for Muslims and non Muslims which became very popular. Although certainly a scholar, he is percieved more as a daa'iyah (caller to Islam) and heavily involved in Da'wah. He is also known for his poetry and great linguistic abilities. He has over 800 khutbas, conferences, and lessons etc recorded. He gives extra care to knowledge of hadeeth which he likes learning about.

(Some of the info above is from Arabic wiki)

This is him..

This second one shows how his lectures are always full of people attending although not in Fridays etc.

Note that he shouldnt be confused with another sheikh called Awadh Al Qarni.
