After reciting Tashahhud, it is better to recite Durood Shareef and Dua at the second Rakah of Ghair Muakkadah as well as to recite Sana at the beginning of third Rakah when these are not permitted to recite in Sunnat-e-Muakkadah. Therefore, if one recites, unknowingly, Durood Shareef at the second Rakah of Sunnat-e-Muakkadah after one recites Tashahhud then one has to perform Sajda-e-Saho at the end of the Salah. (Raddul Muhtaar Ala Durril Mukhtaar, Babul Witri Wannawafil, Vol: 1/500)

And Allah knows the best,

anyone else heard of this?
i havnt come across any other source?
