I was walking down a street and a dog with his owner was walking towards me. We were getting very close to each other, and I could see the dog trying to advance towards me. I did not want to run because I knew the dog would get even more compelled to run after me so I continued walking. The dog was so strong (the report said he was 106 lbs) that he pulled his owner to such a degree that his owner slipped and the dog quickly bit my leg. SubhanAllah that 1 bite caused a 3 inch by 1 inch gash and 20 stitches to fix. Stories like this make me so angry because if the owner was even half responsible none of this would have happened. It is not worth being anywhere near someone who owns these type of dogs, and if I see a dog coming down the street now I just go on the opposite side, not necessarily because of the dog, but how the owner has trained (or lack thereof) the dog.
