has a excellent booklet on his website on this phenomenon which is normal,namely qabz and bast. Its a nice little booklet which explains the phenomenon in a very beautiful,concise manner. The phenomenon does not only effect people in tasawwuf but people in other efforts of deen and Muslims in general.
