In his "tafsir", when explaining Surah Al-An'am, Sayyid Qutub appears to be saying that Prophet Ibrahim alayhessalam was initially mushrik and then came to tawhid. In reality, there is ijma that all Prophets are always exalted beyond and protected from shirk [idolatry].

I have recently read the following issue in a translation of his tafsir (cf. Surah Ale-Imran verse 55, Surah an-Nisa verse 158, and Surah Al-Maida verse 117):

When discussing Isa (Jesus) alayhessalam, Sayyid Qutub concludes that Isa alayhessalam has died. In reality, Ahl al-Sunna scholars agree that Isa alayhessalam did not die and that He was raised to the sky alive.

What I have written above is incomplete, but I hope it gives an idea about some of the problems in Sayyid Qutub's writings.
