When General Anwar Pasha reached Madinah after the rebellion of Shareef and family of Saud he walked bare feet in hot baking sun and refused to wear shoes and said his Salam upon the Prophet (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam)'s grave and Shaykh (Maulana) Zakariyya (RA) has described this in his books. the salafis say Najd wasnt under ottoman control, so they didnt rebel.
