Seems like everyone is afraid to answer

My simple question is based on mixed weddings being haram. I want to ask, If mixed weddings are haram because of intermingling of genders, then why isn't it haram to go to restaurants where intermingling of genders also happen?

that is a very good question. In fact this can all be avoided if women were to stay inside their homes and be dutiful to their husbands.
