Can anyone shed some light on Mufti Menk. Someone mentioned to me that he has faced criticism from some ulema in Zimbabwe/South Africa.

If there are any brothers from that part of Africa, can you provide some insight, insha'allah. The reason I am asking is that I have heard a few of his lectures and haven't heard anything out of the ordinary.
