I really doubt that he has salafi aqeedah or any view point which contradicts the views of ahlus sunnah wal jamah, he did his ifta at darul uloom kantharia after he did degree in sharia at umm al qura. darul uloom kantharia doesn't and wouldn't tolerate anyone who is not from ahlus sunnah wal jamah, he would have been thrown out if he had any hard core salafi views at that time
