Sister, the questions I have posted in the original post actually come from reading through & watching different websites/documents/videos etc online. Like I said in my OP, I have seen those statements made, but I have not seen anyone cite a Hadith in regards to the statement. I don't want to just dismiss them as "myths" because I figured there must be a reason if just about everywhere they have information regarding miswaak is saying this stuff... yet I also don't want to follow them if they are in fact myths.

I guess I will look for answers elsewhere since no one seems to know or wants to share.
