Even if Muhammad salallahu alayhi wasalam saw Allah SWT,it would not be like the way we see objects today with light bouncing off of it.

If I'm not mistaken correct me if I'm wrong,we will see Allah SWT in jannah but not in the same manner that would cause tashbih (affirming likeliness).

So there is no issue if sayydina Ibn abbas was correct,and there is no issue if aisha r.a. is correct.
