Mufti Tosir Miah (Darul Iftaa, Birmingham) told us that according to many scholars (and Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas) Rasulullah did see Allah during the Mi'raj.

Wa Allahu a'lam..

I'd like to correct myself. The majority view, including that of the ulama of Deoband, is that Rasoolullah

did see Allah

with his eyes. I was told that he did not see Allah

by an aalim.

I have also heard from Ml. Tariq Jameel about Rasoolullah

and the deedar of Allah during the mi'raj.

Also, to brother Umair:

It doesn't matter if the ghair muqallideen take issue because some of the sahabas

claimed that he did see Allah

. So if someone believes that Rasoolullah

saw Allah during the mi'raaj, then there is no blame.
