If its about other people , its fine. The sahaba's loved prophet SAW to the extreme. and still not calling him. In no way, i mean that the sahabi has done something wrong. Who am i to point a finger at the sahaba's of Prophet SAW. But what i want to know is , what were the lessons/hikmah for the ummat in this.

And yes, less people = less khichkhich

maybe nikaah was performed on the spur of the moment or the sahaaba was too bashful to tell rasoolullah salallahu-alaihi-wasallam himself.
