No one is forced to use the premise of this forum. The moderators and members of this forum do attempt at utmost that every other members has a positive experience however as a goverance we are required to make decisions that are in the betterment of the entire community and not individuals. In protecting the fundamental views of Islam and at the same time to minimise the need for monitoring, the site has decided to censor certain activities i.e. loading pictures, restriction to brothers or sisters forum by the opposite gender, Private Messaging, etc. If you feel the need to get in contact with other members then there are very simple steps you can take. 1. join a forum that allows private messaging and redirect members to join and connect with you there. 2. Join any one of the popular social networking sites i.e. twitter, Google+, etc and ask members to join you there. 3. Set up a free webspace on Google sites.google.com and just add a contact form. Thus I do not see why there is any complaints on this matter at all really and why people in this social interaction era of the web find it difficult to contact others. We will not police what goes on other sites and do not intend to discourage the communication of other members amongst themselves however as a premise the real-estate of SunniForum has policies and guidelines that are required to be adhered to by all members including moderators of all levels. Nothing outside of those policies and guidelines will be enforced on any member whatsoever but we ask all to respect the ground rules that have been laid down. I think that is enough for a rant in the month of Ramadhan , i think the hunger is getting to me
