true. i had a bird and i potty-trained her, i never ever kept her in a cage - but because she used to play all over the house and yard i used to have her wings clipped at first (just a few feathers from 1 wing) but once she got used to her surroundings she used to fly and come back home to me every-day... birds are exceptionally intelligent creatures and once you win they love and trust they'll almost never leave you, actually my bird, who could fly and run outside whenever she wanted to used to prefer clinging to me, and travelling, eating, sleeping and being all the time with me! i know what sister reeha means when she says the saddest part of having a pet is losing it, coz when my bird (who was more like my baby than pet) died i was DEVASTATED... i think i'll never ever forget her and stop missing her even if a live to a million years.
Wow what kind of a bird was it? I only know of one kind that sticks to its user and never escapes (in my case it escaped...must be my deodorant), so am curious what kind is it.
