abdul azim please hold back on the takfeer as its a serious issue.

i have the book you mentioned. it does highlight a problem as the deobandis defend some dangerous individuals. however you should understand that they arent defending the ideas of the people, they are saying they dont mean what we think they mean. i think this is dangerous, but it isnt kufr akbar. i have no love for ibn arabi, believe me ive debated that issue here e nough times, but people here say we dont know the real meaning to his poems, they dont say they believe in his kufr. its an important distinction bro.

bro, i recommend to learn aqeedah from the ahlal hadeeth (sorry guys), no doubt you wil learn the correct aqeedah inshAllah from them, but dont join any group, know that the ahlal hadeeth can be wrong on an issue, deobandis can be wrong on an issue etc. but they are all in the fold of islam and so we can cooperate in whats good and learn what benefits us and leave what isnt good. hence why there is no problem studying an nawawi even though he was ashari, or ibn hazm even though he was mu'tazili, because all that goooooooood cannot be outweighed by their small mistakes.

i advise to stick to shaykh haitham al haddads organisation mrdf, al maghrib, mercy mission, al kawthar, green lane and jamiah ahlal hadeeth, bilal phillips and his online university, iera, and all those brothers if your in the uk. they have salafi aqeedah but are very moderate in dealing with other groups that arent out of the fold of islam. bare in mind that none of the salafi ulema made takfeer of the deobandis, wheras they did with barelwis, shia, qadiyanis etc. deobandis are closest to the haqh out of all the groups. so stcik with them, cooperate with them, dont follow ahlal hadeeth in their harshness on deobandis, tawfique choudry and yasir qadhi have sound aqeedah but tell us to work with deobandis and not attack them.

your an ex shia bro, inshallah you can use your experience to help us in our war on shia doctrine. if your going to attack any group, deos should be the last group you attack bro. i had a friend who became salafi btw after leaving shia islam, he was from bahrain. he gave me salafi dawah when i was with the naqshbandi haqqanis.

be realistic bro if you write off the deobandis and ahlal kalaam, you write off the taliban, imam nawawi, ibn hajr, salahuddin, and the list goes on. we need unity withthe deobandis, lets focus our efforts on barelwis and haqqanis and shia and qadiyanis and secularists and liberals and modernists etc inshallah who are a far greater threat for sure. at least the deos support the shariah and they leave off serious innovations etc.

please consider this issue with an open heart inshallah, some zealous new salafis are harming any attempt at unity between deos and salafis so think carefully as you may do more harm than good
