I personally many believe that it may be the woman’s fault for not appearing attractive (for the husband) or not being fulfilling BUT I honestly believe that its the fault of the men for not controlling their Nafs.

If the wife is not fulfilling her Islamic duty in catering to the needs of her husband, that DOES NOT exonerate the men from indulging into Haram.

Allah (SWT) knows best.
When a person encourages his nafs, by feeding its desires. It grows exponentially like a virus, from within. Where it becomes insatiable and its thirst can no longer be quenched, irrespective of how much the wife is willing to obey to his demands.

An old fable comes to mind. We all have two wolves inside of us one is good, calm, peaceful, serene and the other full of vengeance, hate, lust, carnality. They are both in a constant internal battle with one another. The one which wins is the one we feed the most. As we feed one, it grows stronger and the other weaker, eventually easily overcoming the other and taking control.
