Thanks all for your kind replies from every corner! I also found that verse 10:45 suggests it will seem like no time has passed between death and the judgement (that's how Jalalayn understands it anyway):

PICKTHAL: And on the day when He shall gather them together, (when it will seem) as though they had tarried but an hour of the day, recognising one another, those will verily have perished who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided.

I'm not sure what to make of the hadith on muftisays.com That sounds like people go to paradise or hell straight away from their point of view, but it doesn't mention the resurrection as far as I could see. At one point it says "His soul is then restored to his body", so maybe that's the resurrection. Or maybe the idea is we leave hell briefly for the judgement day, then go back or to another hell.
