Im glad that your asking more questions regarding it as my sheikh says people or youngsters as ourselves want proof or evidence and wont believe until they see for them selves. if you know more about ilm-e-laduni goto my website.http://medinaghosia.com/index.php/si...ia/ilm-e-ludni.

And if have time read the biography of my sheikh and you will understand better. we are all here on these forums to ask questions and gain asnwers and expand our islamic knowledge.
Hazrat,

I know about all this. I believe in kashfs and everything.

But tell me, why would a shaikh tell a person about his past?

and

How do we differentiate about it?

I had a relative who pretended to be a big shaikh. I was very close to him. He was a mushrik, a shia.. and Allah knows what. But he pretended to be a big buzurg. He also would tell you about your past. He told one of my friends about where he went to do Zina. The friend was very impressed and became his mureed.

So my question, how do you differentiate and whats the use of telling people's pasts? Do we have any example of this from our Akaabir of telling people's pasts?
