I already answered your question when replying to Ahmad12: Please tell me the hadith or surah where it states that niqab is fard. I am not just going to believe someone because they tell me so. I need to see it in print. When I was a Christian...I was told to just believe in things that I didn't understand without any proof. The reason I was attracted to Islam is because I was always encouraged to investigate & research the answers & to not depend on what another human being says. I converted because it was the most rational & logical religion to me. However, I do not agree with the "interpretation" of Islam from certain Muslims. Just like the Bible was changed many times by humans, the hadith was created by mankind so I only accept the Qur'an.
