walaikom assalam.

This hadeeth is narrated by Al Tirmidhi , and ibn Udayy, and Al Tabarani.

Sheikh Abu Ishaaq Al Huwaini, said it is weak. He says Imam Al Dhahabi said Al Tirmidhi said "This hadeeth is ghareeb and we only know it from the hadeeth of Nuaim, narrating from Sufyan" Al Tabarani said "nobody narrated it from Sufyaan except for N'eem" Also this is said by Abu Nu'eem and Ibn Udayy.

Al Dhahabi said "This hadeeth is munkar, and has no origins from the hadeeths of the messenger of Allah, nor does it have a shaahid (another hadeeth supporting it, and is not narrated by Sufyan except by Neem, who although an Imam, is Munkar Al hadeeth)

Ibn Al Jawzee reports that Al Nisaa'i "This hadeeth is munkar, narrated by Nuaim Ibn Hammad and is not thiqah"

Ibn Hajar however, comments on what Al Dhahabi said, and said the hadeeth does have a shaahid (another one supporting it) , from a hadeeth reported by Ibn Uyaynah from Ma'roof Al Moosili from Al Hasan Al Basri, but it is Mursal"

Also, shiekh Abu Ishaaq Al Huwaini says theres another chain reported by Abu Umar Addani, and Tareekh Al Bukhari (not Saheeh Al Bukhari) , and by Imam Ahmad, but with a different wording. Theres differences on this chain mostly because of unclairity about Hajjaj Al Aswad speaking of it, or Abu Al Siddeq as theres conflicting narrations.

After lengthy discussion of the hadeeth he said it is considered weak.

Imam Al Albani mentions it being weak also.

So this is some of what scholars have said about it.

Wallahu A'lam.
