May peace prevail you all, my dear Sunni brothers and sister!

I was just wondering, since Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HF) came from a bloodline of previous Prophets, wouldn't it make more sense, for us Muslims to seek guidance from the bloodline that came AFTER Him as well?

Curious really, why do Sunnis, Wahhabis, Salafis, etc. follow the path of Umar and Abu Bakar, (ra) when they could follow ACTUAL descendants of the Holy Prophet himself?!
Wouldn't that be a blessing!

I know many people might say, "I only follow Quran and Prophet" but come on, think rationally here.

Like what made you guys decide that 'They' (ra) were the right Caliphate?
I'm actually really keen on learning about Sunnism and if my questions are answered I'd really appreciate that.
Thank you.
lol! c'mon think rationally. Rasulullah salalahualaihi-wasallam is the LAST FINAL PROPHET OF ALLAAH! after him there is NO prophet... although there are his progeny and sahaba they are NOT PROPHETS, they didnt receive wahi, werent sent as prophets to mankind etc etc, so it is much more blessed and intelligent to follow the prophet salalahu alaihiwasallam himself... anyway his progeny and sahaba were not propogating anything other than what nabi salallahu alaihi wasallam himself thought them! sunnis equally love hazrat abu bakr, umar, uthman and ali, the whole family, his wives and all the sahaba (r.a) as Allahs rasool loved all of them.. do you ever find a sunni saying bad things about hazrat ali, bibi fatima, hasan or husain (r.a)..? no. we love them coz nabi salalahualaihi wasallam loved them... and just as HE loved them, he loved hazrat abu bakr and hazrat umar (R.A)... did'nt nabi salalahualaihi-wasallam say: My sahabi are like the stars, whomsoever follows anyone of them will be guided. (i stand to correction if these are not the exact words.)
