As-Salaamu 'alaykum

Courting and communication with one’s fiancé is not permissible in Islam.

The following is a quotation of Shaykh Yunus Patel (Rahmatullahi Alayh) :

"I always say don’t court before marriage. Most couples court, court and court, and after marriage, they end up in divorce courts."

Hazrat ‘Ali (RA) had said :

 Hasten your Salaah before the time expires.
 Hasten with Taubah, before death.
 Don’t delay the Janaza
 Don’t delay payment of debts.
 Don’t delay Nikah.
