There would have been no problem at all if everyone who had a doubt will come and ask. You could then clarify as to what you are listening to. But it is those people who are just walking by and looking at you and thinking that this Muslim guy is listening to music whilst fasting in Ramadan. It goes without saying as to what conclusions these people would have already drawn. And the most important thing is the negative impact it has on the image of Islam and muslims as a whole.
