Jazakumallahu Khairan for some finally addressing those racist comments that have been being made. I first noticed them in the other thread yesterday. I can not understand how a muslim can call other humans "monkeys" etc. I was VERY offended and have been trying to think of a good way to address the issue without my emotions getting too involved. Majority of the Americans who have came into Islam here over the past several decades are black Americans. All across America I have many African American elders who have been like fathers to me over many years.

As far as the behavior of whatever people who are doing those activities in London, there can be no excuse for that. Although I would like to point out that I know of many brothers (including myself) who used to be thieves, drug dealers, getting in shootouts, etc. and by the grace of Allah Islam has saved us from that life style. While myself and others would agree that we still have alot of work to do, but Alhamdulillah we are VERY far from where we came from. We should hate actions, not people. Forgive me if I said anything out of order. Allah and his Rasool (SAW) know best
