But I'm still confused about the folding of jeans/ pents. Do you mean we should fold the jeans/pents up towards the outside i.e like this

or the other way i.e inwards/ inside. I could not find a picture of jeans/pents folded inside but its the opposite of the above picture.

Hazrat,

He means that whether you are in NAMAZ or not, you should fold it because it is a big sin to have it below Ankles. (takhnay)

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said: "The part of an izar which hangs below the ankles is in the Fire." (Bukhari)

Izar means lungi. It can mean anything today, pant, shalwar etc.
