As-salamu ´alaykum,

About folding being makruh:
It has been said that folding is makruh if it is done specifically for salah because of the ahadith forbidding folding clothes in salah. However if ones clothes are always folded, ulama tend to say that it is not makruh, because this is then the default of your clothes.
