This incident is mentioned in the last issue of "The Shariah" newspaper distributed by the Jamiatul Ulama of De Deur,South Africa. Whilst I am not implying that everything occurring in their newspaper is necessarily sourced from authentic sources or that their newspaper is a proof in Shar'i matters,I am sure they would have undertaken the required measures to ensure authenticity as they are highly qualified scholars from what I am given to understand.

Perhaps somebody who is studying at the madrasah or living nearby could contact the Darul Uloom at De Deur to ask them for the required source?
