Assalaamulaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,

I have been invited to a dawut by a friend who is shia,
i am aware that we shouldn't eat their food, especially their meat (no idea why) (anyone care to explain)

i also know that their meat is 100% halal as i know who the supplier is...

is it okay if i go?

My advice is Better to avoid it sister. Not just about the food, the conversations etc etc.
