how can people say that some shias do not understand their own beliefs? for them to identify themselves as shias then they must have some understanding of their beliefs, otherwise they would not identify themselves as shia. and surely they will be taught from an early age that as shias, they are different from sunnis and will be taught that sunni islam is wrong for xyz reasons and an aversion to sunni islam will have been inculcated into them?
