Brother, if you don't have a wife or sister who does this who you can ask, then why does this concern you?
If you don't buy abaya for the women in your life, then why raise this issue about which women most certainly know and deal with?

No offense, but when I first read your post I thought why you should be concerned about issues which don't concern you?
Why take on more responsibility by delving into this when there are multitudes of issues which do concern you which need all of our attention?

Assuming you are not married, insha Allah you will marry soon to a good Muslim woman and you will soon find out more about Muslim women and their needs and circumstances.
