There are two known institues so link up with them. Generally I find asian areas to be quiet backward because of their village mindedness and insular looking young muslim brought up in such setting. I prefer to keep away from asian/arab communities on the ground that they are generally not very civil and brash but linking up with scholars and masjed on a regular basis is a must.
