It is important to live in a Muslim area and to live close to a masjid. I have seen many people become cocunuts who live away from the Muslim community and those that detach themselves from the masjid. The most important thing when living somewhere is to find out how close the masjid is and will a person be able to pray salah with jamaat in the masjid.
