Brother Dawud,
Why not put your energy in doing dawah to non muslim under the guidance of a scholar. Your zeal to propogate is commendable but I feel it is missplaced. You are white convert and people can identify with you easily then us asian. So why not try to inculcate the qualities of daiee (waking up for tahajud salaat at night and being soft and measured responsed and gentle). With harsh word you can't break the door but with soft, gentle demeaner and speech you can melt the heart of a ardent enemy. The key thing is always under the guidance of a seassoned scholar, living locally.
Allahualam

I agree with brother Nomadic here. There have been small small difference in opinion in many matters of deen. Even at the times of the Sahabah. Most of them are not an issue, because as we all know there are many occasions when both of them are right. As Nomadic suggested why don't you divert your energy for Dawah.
