Don't worry about these debates. Stick to the 'Ulamaa whom you trust and that practice on what they teach. The 'Ulamaa here post much less than the users that are active.
If you have a question then post it in the Senstive Q&A sect or Hanafi Fiqh Q&A. I'd suggest Sensitive Q&A since only Moderators and 'Ulamaa are able to see them and reply.

There are some highly knowledgable and sincere brothers/sisters on this forum and when they engage in an academic discussion that contains detailed islamic info. then it's best to leave them at their discussions because they know what they are talking about.

Plus you will see that the 'Ulamaa here do not post much because they are either busy working for their Aakhirah, busy schedule, or some of the posts do not concern them or some of the posts are plain futile and useless talk.

To gain a sound understanding of Islam, studying under a qualified Shaykh is the way to go.
