Default Hijab week at school (Everyone, I want your opinions... I would be sponsoring this)
I'm in the Honors Program at my university, and am doing "mentoring" for the Freshmen this year. As a mentor, I'm supposed to host events that will challenge the freshmen to "expand their horizons" in basically ANYTHING. My sister said that last year, a lot of freshmen were asking for a "wear a hijab for a week" program, but none of the mentors knew how to go about that. I was thinking I could propose is to the Director, but I definitely would want to make some sort of contract with the girls that they would have to dress appropriately, not drink, etc while wearing the hijab. Do you think this is a good idea? If you do... what other things would you think would be good to mandate the girls DO and DO NOT do while wearing the hijab?

I was thinking there could be two levels of "difficulty"... one where they just wear the hijab and follow contract statements. The other one would be more following the Islamic way, like setting an alarm for the prayers, even if they prayed in their own religions ways, only eating "halal" stuff, etc. Do you get what I mean?

Does this make sense? I think wearing hijab is something every girl should experience, I just want to know if you think this is a good idea. What are your suggestions?
