As far as I know the TRANSLITERATION is only to be used for new converts to learn necessary Ayat to read their Salah but not after that. Its actually Haram to read the Qoran with Transliteration because you can easily get letters and words wrong which is a sin and it also kind of prevents you from learning the original arabic version.
