Within the Hanafi Madhab:

  1. Shaykh Mufti Rasheed Ahmed Ludhyanwi (RA) calls it Bidah
  2. Shaykh (Mufti) Taqi Usmani (RA) considers it permissable to make extra worship anyway you want
