I find it very sad that us Muslims are so willing to slander our fellow Muslims. Rumi wrote poetry, and the very nature of poetry is that it is highly subject to interpretation. That's just how it is. Two people reading the same poem rarely end up interpreting it in the same way. Just because you interpreted some of Rumi's poetry as endorsing un-Islamic practices, doesn't mean that was the intention of the author.
