to put it bluntly

if your going to get angry, get the hell out of the thread. Because i can get angry too, but this thread is not about dawud or 'taliban', its about a man who may potentially have seriously corrupted millions into shirk and kufr.

Its going to take me a few days of research before i post anything on him, sone things can be explained away and some things people will claim is inauthentic, i need to do full research including familiarising myself with his biography and poetry and looking at various works of his critics so you'll have to remian patient inshallah.

user Taliban is an 'Aalim therefore practice sabr and kindness in your speech.

And if, as you say, it will take you few days of research before you post 'anything' on him [i.e. Rumi] then you have absolutely no reason to hate him without knowing his works and scholars qawl on them. Some considered him this, some that. It's the same with Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah.

If you go on other forums, some will tell you to get away from the Soofiyyah or the Salafiyyah or someone else. There are a lot of opinions out there and half of them are of non-'Ulamaa which hold no weight in our deen nor are we obliged to follow them. Only the explanation of Qur'an and Sunnah done by 'Ulamaa have a place in our deen, not a layman's.

Layman is synonym with 'non-expert' in our deen in a Fiqhi point of view.

If you do not know 'arabic you cannot do full research of someone's works. Translations aren't an option.

Regarding the George Bush vs Rumi issue. George Bush is a non-Muslim and on him there is no Ikhtilaaf if he is a Mu'min or a Kafir. Whereas on Rumi it is different.

I have seen an intention in you in the other thread of learning Fiqhi kutub and I have seen emotional replies in this thread. I have given sufficient advise I believe. Any clarification is welcomed.

It is up to you to take my advise or not.
