Assalamu Alaikum,

Ash-Shifa of Qadi Iyad has a brilliant discussion on the alleged "satanic verses". The learned Qadi analyses it from both angles: 1) Reasons why it's a false and weak narration 2) Even if it is considered true, what are the different explanations that can be given.

Needless to say, this is one of those incidents that the enemies of Allah use to create doubts in the minds of muslims. But Alhamdulillah, our Ulama have dissected it completely and through them, Allah has put our hearts at ease.
