My father has been working as an English teacher in King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah for over 23 years now. He tells me stories all the time. It's an accepted fact amongst all south asians. Regardless of your qualification, the Americans/British WILL earn more than you.

Funnily enough, it's often not based on the colour of your skin but the colour of your passport. Two asians with exactly the same qualifications and experience - if one them has the red passport, his pay will be about 1.2-1.5 times higher.
