Jazak'Allahu khayran

I think my question was misunderstood.
I know about what can be donated etc, what I wonder is if there is any difference regarding how to donate this reward.

Let's say I read Surah Yasin, would ulama agree that the intention in the heart for it to be donated is all we should have, or would some say that it would be superior to make audible du'a Allah asking Allah

to send the reward to them. Or any other methods.
